Thought it might be a nice thread to kick start the forum 
Poppy is an amazing young lady, and I think she is so awesome!!!
One of the nicest people I have ever known!
I'm so glad to be here supporting her!!!

the response is overwhelming - early days, early days, early days, lol!
Seriously though, she's not my top myspace friend for nothing (after my music page of course). Even though there are others there (top friends) that I have met, and even worked alongside, and I am yet to meet the great lady herself, she's always there with supportive messages or comments, and not just random mail merge messages that are churned out to dozens of profiles without any personailty reflection or any relation to what was talked about in previous emails. Every message is a joy, every comment most welcome from her. I can't exactly remember how we crossed paths (think it was off howeyT's profile) but I am so glad that we did.
What do I love about her? I love her approach to life, I love her approach to her career - being true to herself and not some corporate gimmick - it might mean a longer, harder road to travel on, but that will only make the journey more rewarding when it does happen, I love her quirky sense of humour....

All I can say to add to what Arfon has already elegantly said is that I have only met Poppy through Myspace and I always look forward to when I log on to see if I have any messages or comments from her, she has been nothing but kind to me and that I find is most refreshing in this world of greed and negativity. It is an honour for me to be her friend and I hope that our friendship lasts for a long long time. There are too few genuine people around, but Poppy is one of the most genuine and sincere ladies I have had the pleasure of knowing if only via my computer. I doff my hat to you Poppy

Me too, i met Poppy through MySpace and she's always been so nice and messages back (normally, lol). And i do find myself looking forward to getting a message off Poppy so i can reply.
She's one of the prettiest young ladies i've had the pleasure of being friends with and her career will be long and fulfilling, hope we stay friends for the forseable future and longer |
